About this Speaker
Craig is lead portfolio manager for ASI’s Multi-Asset Climate funds and heads the Strategic Asset Allocation team. Craig also plays a leading role in ASI’s climate scenario group and Net Zero initiatives.
Prior to his SAA role in 2015, Craig’s work focused on climate issues. He founded the Centre for Business and Climate Change at the University of Edinburgh in 2008, and set up the Carbon Management and Carbon Finance MSc programmes, which he still teaches. He has been heavily involved in the Institutional Investors Group on Climate Change, including co-drafting the SAA chapter for the new Net Zero Investment Framework.
Earlier in his career, Craig established successful governance and sustainability functions at Friends, Ivory & Sime and at Insight Investment; he created BMOs innovative reo® ESG engagement service; and he helped establish and shape the Principles for Responsible Investment, the CDP and the FTSE Russell ESG index family.
